When you apply for or enrol in a micro-credential, we will collect personal information about you. The personal information we will collect includes your name, home postcode and other demographic details such as your age, gender, linguistic background, disability status, educational attainment, employer details and indigenous status. For certain courses, we may also collect your CV and information about your work experience to determine your eligibility to enrol in a micro-credential.
We will use your personal information to assess and /or administer your enrolment and completion of the micro-credential you undertake and improve the services we offer.
You do not have to provide us with any personal information; however, if you do not do so we may not be able to process your enrolment, respond to your enquiries or provide you with any services or assistance you have requested.
The University of Sydney will not share your personal information with anyone else without your consent, unless required or authorised to do so by law.
